John A. Dorizas, M.D.

Dr. Jad Dorizas is originally from Oxford, MS. He grew to love Lookout Mountain and the Chattanooga area while working at Alpine Camp for Boys during his college years. He has lived in the Chattanooga area for approximately the past five years.

Dr. Dorizas specializes in Sports Medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He serves as Assistant Professor for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga. He has quickly distinguished himself for his abilities in the field of Sports Medicine and arthroscopic management of a broad spectrum of shoulder, knee and other sports related injuries. Additionally Dr. Dorizas strives to integrate his faith in Christ through excellence, service and compassion in his care for patients.

Dr. Dorizas currently serves as Orthopedic Sports Medicine provider for the University of TN-Chattanooga, Lee University, and Bryan College.
